Maria Gorgounis

Maria has been working as Massage Therapist in the U.S since 1999. She later moved back to her home town Vancouver, B.C. and attended West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She has been an RMT in Canada since 2014.
Her years of experience in massage therapy has taught her that no two bodies are alike. Each session is customized to fit the particular needs of the patient and their soft tissue structure. In addition, after having the privilege of working with several soft tissue injuries, she has come to a greater understanding of the mind/body connection.
Her treatment goals are to give you a great therapeutic session, then send you home with information and a plan so that you continue to feel fantastic and have greater ease and freedom of movement in your everyday life..

Matt Halverson

Matt’s passion for health and athletics led him to pursue Paramedics, Personal Training, and Registered Massage Therapy. Through this diverse education, Matt acquired a strong understanding of both the mechanism and physiological response to injury and rehabilitation.
He has worked with active patients ranging from weekend warriors to professional and national level athletes, highlighted by his work with the BC Lions, Vancouver Whitecaps, Maple Ridge Burrards, Team Canada Ballhockey, the 2010 Vancouver Paralympics and the Cayman Islands National Team.
Matt is also a respected member of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy faculty, currently helping aspiring massage therapy students to improve their practical massage skills as well as develop their assessment and clinical reasoning.
Through this experience, he believes active rehabilitation, including exercise, and stretching along with manual and massage techniques are crucial pieces to a successful and complete recovery. Matt’s focus is to not only reduce your pain, but to also get you back to enjoying the activities that currently give you discomfort.

Kayla has always had an infatuation for the health sciences and a strong passion for helping others, which in combination led her to pursue a career in massage therapy. She has learned first-hand that massage treatments must be customized as every individual’s body and that body’s tissues respond differently.
Using a variety of techniques like Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, or Joint Mobilizations she has been able to help patients progress towards their wellness goals, as well as discover new ones.

Jonathan has been a practicing RMT since 1996. During that time he has changed the way he sees the body. He no longer tries to make your body fit the textbook model. But instead tries to restore your body’s adapted natural balance.

Chelsea has been lucky enough to travel around the world but here favorite place is home. After dancing professionally abroad for years and ignoring many of her injuries, she decided to return to registered massage therapy school to learn how to heal herself and others. Having suffered from chronic pain and overcoming it, Chelsea is a very understanding therapist.
All types of patients are welcome and all types of techniques will be applied. Joint mobilizations, myofascial techniques, trigger point release and rehabilitation exercises to name a few. Chelsea now also works as a part time Instructor at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westmister. Chelsea looks forward to meeting you.

I Graduated from the 3000 hour Massage Therapy program in 2010. Since then I have been passionate about providing gentle but effective treatments to restore and maintain optimum health.
I believe a treatment doesn't have to painful to be effective. My clients experience relief from a wide range of conditions including migraine headaches, tendonitis, arthritis, fibromyalgia, stress, chronic overuse injuries and other conditions related to soft tissue and joint dysfunction.
I am competent in all Swedish styles of massage, myofascial release, and treating every day aches and pains from headaches to overall muscular tension through applying gentle stretching and holding techniques.
